Bake Meatball Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound uncooked rotini.
02 - 1 jar marinara sauce (about 24-25 ounces).
03 - 3 cups of water.
04 - 1 package (14 ounces) small, precooked meatballs.
05 - 2 cups of shredded mozzarella.
06 - Grated Parmesan, to sprinkle on top.
07 - Chopped fresh herbs, if desired, for finishing.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F to warm up.
02 - In a 9x13 pan, toss together the rotini, marinara, water, and meatballs. Add a pinch of salt.
03 - Cover tightly with foil and let it bake for 35 minutes.
04 - Give it a stir and sample the pasta to see if it’s cooked through. Bake a little longer if it’s still firm.
05 - Sprinkle the mozzarella all over the top.
06 - Bake it again, this time uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and melted.

# Notes:

01 - You don’t have to boil the pasta ahead of time.
02 - A dash of Italian spices can bring out more flavor.
03 - Swap the water for broth or wine if you’d like.
