Banana Bread Cookie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup of unsalted butter, cooked until golden.
02 - 1 cup packed light brown sugar.
03 - About 3-4 very ripe bananas, smashed.
04 - 1 egg, size large.
05 - ¼ cup whole milk, any kind works.
06 - 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
07 - 1 teaspoon of almond flavoring.
08 - 2 cups plain all-purpose flour.
09 - 1 teaspoon baking powder for lift.
10 - ¼ teaspoon fine salt.
11 - ½ cup colorful sprinkles, keep some for the top.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in a medium pan on medium heat. Wait around 5-10 minutes until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Let it cool for another 5-10 minutes.
02 - In a big bowl, mix the cooled brown butter and sugar. Stir in the mashed bananas, almond and vanilla extracts, milk, and the egg.
03 - Carefully mix the flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet stuff. Stop once it's just evenly combined—don't stir too much.
04 - Gently mix in most of the sprinkles, saving a handful for the top. Pour all into a greased 9x5 pan and sprinkle the rest over the batter.
05 - Put the pan in a 350°F oven for about an hour, maybe a bit longer, until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
06 - Leave to cool in the loaf pan for half an hour, then slice and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - If you're short on time, regular melted butter works too.
02 - Cooling the loaf in the pan is key for the right consistency.
