Melt butter in a medium pan on medium heat. Wait around 5-10 minutes until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Let it cool for another 5-10 minutes.

In a big bowl, mix the cooled brown butter and sugar. Stir in the mashed bananas, almond and vanilla extracts, milk, and the egg.

Carefully mix the flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet stuff. Stop once it's just evenly combined—don't stir too much.

Gently mix in most of the sprinkles, saving a handful for the top. Pour all into a greased 9x5 pan and sprinkle the rest over the batter.

Put the pan in a 350°F oven for about an hour, maybe a bit longer, until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

Leave to cool in the loaf pan for half an hour, then slice and enjoy.
