→ Base

01 - 1 pack (12-count) sweet dinner rolls
02 - 1 pound thinly sliced rare deli roast beef
03 - 12 pieces provolone cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons soft unsalted butter

→ Butter Topping

05 - 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 1 packet au jus seasoning, split
07 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
09 - ¾ teaspoon dry minced garlic
10 - ½ teaspoon onion powder

→ Optional

11 - 1½ cups crispy French onions

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 dish with butter and put parchment paper on it.
02 - Cut the whole block of rolls across the middle while keeping them attached. Put the bottom section in your dish.
03 - Add 6 slices of cheese, then the beef, crispy onions if using, the rest of the cheese, and finally the top part of rolls.
04 - Melt the butter, stir in 1 tablespoon of au jus mix and all other topping ingredients. Brush over the tops and sides of your rolls.
05 - Cook without covering for 15-20 minutes until the cheese gets gooey and the tops turn golden brown.
06 - Mix the leftover au jus seasoning with water as the package says and warm it up until it gets a bit thick.

# Notes:

01 - Ask for rare beef at the deli counter so it won't get tough
02 - Don't separate the rolls when cutting them
03 - Store leftover butter mix in the fridge for next time
