In a medium pot, heat caramel bits with the heavy cream over a low flame. Keep mixing until the mixture turns smooth.

Take the pot off the stove, toss in the marshmallows, and mix them up until they're coated and gooey.

Dump the marshmallow-caramel blend over the Rice Krispies in a big mixing bowl. Gently stir to get it evenly distributed.

Grease your hands, grab bits of the mixture, and roll them into 1-inch balls. Set them on parchment or wax paper to cool.

Roll the balls through crushed graham crackers and, if using, mini chocolate chips. Let them sit until they're no longer sticky.
