# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 diced yellow onion
02 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
03 - 1.5 pounds of ground beef, lean

→ Sauce

04 - 10.5 oz of cheddar soup, condensed
05 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, split
06 - Half a cup of milk
07 - 10.5 oz of cream of mushroom soup, condensed

→ Biscuit Topping

08 - 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
09 - 2 cups of milk
10 - A box of Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
11 - Butter, melted (1/4 cup)
12 - Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Brown the ground beef with the garlic and diced onion.
02 - Add the condensed soups, milk, and one cup of cheese to the cooked beef. Stir well to get everything mixed.
03 - Pour the mixture into a 9x13 pan and sprinkle the extra cheese over the top.
04 - Whisk the biscuit mix, cheese, and milk until smooth. Spread the batter over the beef mixture.
05 - Bake in the oven at 350°F for around 50 to 55 minutes, or until the top is a golden color.
06 - Brush the top with the butter mixture, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and sprinkle parsley for color.

# Notes:

01 - Letting it sit a few minutes helps thicken the filling.
02 - Don’t toss the biscuit mix’s seasoning packet—you’ll need it for the buttery topping!
03 - This can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready.
