Sesame Chicken Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad Base

01 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced thinly into strips
02 - ½ cup finely chopped green onion
03 - 1 jalapeño, diced and seeds removed
04 - ¾ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
05 - 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
06 - 1 cup carrots, shredded
07 - 2 cups red cabbage, shredded

→ Protein

08 - 1 serving of Grilled Sesame Chicken

→ Dressing

09 - 1 portion of Sesame Ginger Dressing

→ Toppings

10 - ⅓ cup roasted cashew pieces
11 - Toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling
12 - ⅓ cup almond slices, toasted
13 - Extra cilantro leaves for sprinkling
14 - Thinly sliced green onion for topping
15 - Crispy wonton strips (optional)
16 - Jalapeño rounds for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the steps for the Grilled Sesame Chicken and cook it through after marinating.
02 - Whip up the Sesame Ginger Dressing recipe, set it aside when done.
03 - In a big bowl, toss together the green and red cabbage, onion, carrots, peppers, cilantro, and jalapeño with the dressing until it's combined well.
04 - Place the mix on a platter, scatter almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, and extra herbs on top. Add optional wontons and finish with jalapeño slices.

01 - Swap chicken for tofu or chickpeas to make it vegan/vegetarian-friendly
02 - Feeds up to 4 people as a main course or 6 as a side
