# Ingredients:

01 - Box of chocolate cake mix.
02 - Ingredients listed on the box.
03 - Cupcake liners (red).
04 - 1/2 cup of softened butter.
05 - 1/2 cup vegetable shortening.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla (clear works best).
07 - 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted for smoothness.
08 - 2 tablespoons milk.
09 - Green food dye in gel form.
10 - Yellow sugar stars for topping.
11 - Edible candy balls for decorating.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the box mix instructions to bake the cupcakes.
02 - Blend together the butter and shortening until creamy.
03 - Mix in the powdered sugar slowly, then add the milk and vanilla.
04 - Stir in the green dye to tint your frosting.
05 - Swirl the frosting in a shape resembling trees.
06 - Place a star right on top of each frosted cupcake.
07 - Sprinkle candy balls to complete the look.
