# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pound of ground beef
02 - 8 ounces of medium shell pasta
03 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil

→ Aromatics & Seasonings

04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1/2 of a medium-sized sweet onion, chopped
06 - 2 tablespoons of plain flour
07 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of Italian herb blend

→ Sauce

08 - 1 (15-ounce) can of tomato sauce
09 - 2 cups of beef broth
10 - 6 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
11 - 3/4 cup of heavy cream
12 - Salt and black pepper, as needed to adjust taste

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the shell pasta in salty water following the package details. Drain them completely once cooked.
02 - In a pan with olive oil, brown the ground beef until it’s fully cooked (about 3 to 5 minutes). Get rid of the excess fat and set the beef aside.
03 - In the same pan, sauté the onions until soft and see-through. Stir in the garlic, spice mix, and flour. Let the flour cook for about a minute.
04 - Mix in the broth and tomato sauce. Let the mixture simmer for 6 to 8 minutes until it thickens.
05 - Combine the cooked pasta, beef, heavy cream, and cheese into the sauce. Stir well and warm everything up. Add extra salt or pepper if needed.

# Notes:

01 - You’ll only need one pan to cook this after boiling the pasta.
02 - Start to finish, this takes around 40 minutes.
03 - Perfect for weeknights when you want a filling and easy meal.
