Sweet Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - About 8 slices of bacon.
02 - A couple of thyme sprigs.
03 - 1 tablespoon of honey.
04 - A pinch of salt and pepper.
05 - 2 lbs of brussels sprouts.
06 - 1 spoonful of olive oil.
07 - 1 tablespoon balsamic or cider vinegar.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F/200°C and let it preheat.
02 - Chop off stems, peel off any bad leaves, then halve the sprouts.
03 - On your baking tray, combine brussels sprouts with bacon, thyme, oil, pepper, and salt.
04 - Lay sprouts down cut-side first to get them brown and golden.
05 - Put them in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
06 - Stir together vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
07 - Pour the honey-vinegar combo over the sprouts. Toss them to cover evenly.
08 - Let them roast another 10 minutes, then broil for one minute to crisp them up.

# Notes:

01 - Flip them cut-side flat for extra crunch.
02 - Too many sprouts on the tray? They'll steam, not roast.
03 - Use whichever vinegar you prefer—balsamic is sweeter, cider is tangier.
