Easy Eggnog Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (and a bit extra for sprinkling).
02 - 1 cup chilled eggnog.
03 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into chunks.
04 - 1 (3.4-ounce) packet instant vanilla pudding.
05 - 2 cups cold whipping cream.
06 - 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar.
07 - Two tablespoons of liquor like bourbon, rum, or brandy (optional).
08 - 1 ready-made 9-inch graham cracker crust.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the nutmeg, pudding mix, and eggnog. Stir for about 2 minutes until it's just set.
02 - Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and optional alcohol until smooth. Gradually whisk in the chilled cream until peaks form.
03 - In two parts, gently fold the whipped cream into the eggnog pudding. Keep it light and airy.
04 - Spread the filling in the crust, cover it up, and chill it in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Save some of the whipped cream for later.
05 - Add the remaining whipped cream as a topping and sprinkle a little nutmeg on top.

01 - Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
02 - Freezing works too—up to 3 months.
03 - Alcohol is totally optional.
