Boosting Immune Shot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Primary Items

01 - 2 lemons, squeezed for juice
02 - 2 oranges, split into sections
03 - 2 inches fresh turmeric, diced (or 2 teaspoons ground)
04 - 2 inches fresh ginger, minced
05 - 4 cloves garlic, crushed

→ Liquid Mix-ins

06 - 1/4 cup plain or coconut water
07 - 1/4 cup unfiltered honey
08 - 2 tablespoons unprocessed apple cider vinegar (with the mother included)

→ Seasonings

09 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, ground
10 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Using a knife's side, press down on garlic cloves to crush them. Let them sit out for 10 minutes so they oxidize.
02 - Cut open lemons to extract the juice and pour it into the blender. Break apart the orange and toss in the sections.
03 - Put the rest of the ingredients into the blender and run it until everything is completely blended into a smooth mixture.
04 - Pour the mixture through a fine strainer. Use a spoon's back to press the solids and get out as much liquid as possible.

# Notes:

01 - You’ll get about 3 tablespoons per serving.
02 - Pour into ice cube molds to freeze for later.
03 - For kids, dilute half a serving with water and sweeten a bit more.
04 - Drink several times weekly for upkeep or every day for 4-5 days if feeling sickly.
