Creamy Garlic Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Creamy Pasta

01 - 12 ounces of penne or fettuccine pasta
02 - 2 tablespoons of butter
03 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
04 - A cup of shredded Parmesan
05 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

→ Garlic Butter Sausage

06 - One pound of smoked sausage or Italian sausage, cut into slices
07 - 3 tablespoons butter
08 - Three minced garlic cloves
09 - A tablespoon of olive oil
10 - Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)

→ Seasonings & Garnish

11 - Chopped fresh parsley
12 - Salt, as much as you like
13 - Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Add the slices of sausage to some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry for 4-5 minutes on both sides, then set aside.
02 - Using the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes. Toss the sausage back in along with seasoning.
03 - Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water until it's just firm enough to bite. Drain the water and keep it ready.
04 - Melt butter, stir in heavy cream and garlic powder. Gradually mix in the Parmesan until it’s all silky. Adjust flavors how you'd like.
05 - Mix the sauce with your pasta, put the sausage on top, and sprinkle parsley or more Parmesan to finish.

# Notes:

01 - Freshly grated Parmesan makes it taste better.
02 - If the sauce is thick, pour in a little of the pasta water.
03 - You can throw in veggies like spinach or mushrooms if you want.
