Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pound of dough, store-bought or homemade

→ Topping

02 - 1 3/4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or 2 cloves, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons (28g) of melted unsalted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon dried basil or Italian spice mix

→ Optional

06 - Dust the pan with cornmeal if you'd like
07 - Serve with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - Punch down fresh dough to remove air. Divide into two portions; save one for later in the freezer if unused.
02 - Heat oven to 425°F. Spread dough into a 9x13 rectangle on either parchment or a floured surface. Stir together the butter, garlic, and spices, then brush over dough. Sprinkle cheese on top.
03 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are golden. Broil at the end for 1 minute to darken the top, if desired.
04 - Cut into sticks and pair them with marinara if you like, or enjoy them on their own.
