Garlic Sesame Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3½ tablespoons minced garlic
02 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
03 - 2 (3 oz.) packs of instant ramen noodles, seasoning set aside
04 - 1 tablespoon butter

→ Sauce

05 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
06 - 2 tablespoons of the water you saved from cooking ramen
07 - 3 teaspoons chili oil with shallots and ginger
08 - 3½ tablespoons soy sauce

→ Garnish

09 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, roasted
10 - 3 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the ramen cooking directions on the package. Before they're done, save 2 tablespoons of water, then drain the noodles completely.
02 - On medium-high heat, melt some butter with sesame oil in a skillet. Toss in the garlic and cook for 2 minutes, making sure it doesn’t turn brown.
03 - Turn off the heat and mix in the water you set aside, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar’s all melted.
04 - Put the skillet back on heat and toss in the noodles. Let them cook for a minute, then mix in chili oil, green onions, and sesame seeds.

# Notes:

01 - Mix light and dark soy sauce if you'd like a richer color on the noodles.
02 - Eat right away for the freshest flavor and texture.
