Hot Honey Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
02 - 2 teaspoons On Everything All-Purpose Blend (store-bought or DIY)
03 - 2 lbs of fresh chicken breasts (preferably organic)
04 - 1 teaspoon of optional smoked paprika
05 - 1 tablespoon of good quality olive oil

→ Hot Honey Sauce

06 - 4 minced cloves of garlic
07 - Pinch of salt to taste
08 - ½ teaspoon chili powder
09 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 cup raw organic honey
11 - 6 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
12 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
13 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
14 - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Toss chicken with oil and seasonings in a large mixing bowl. Make cuts across the top about 1 inch apart. Let it marinate for at least 3 hours, if possible.
02 - Melt butter in a skillet and cook garlic until it smells amazing. Stir in the honey with all the seasonings until it thickens up nicely, then remove from heat.
03 - Heat oven to 400°F while laying parchment paper on a baking pan. Leave space between the chicken pieces as you arrange them on the pan.
04 - Pour some of the sauce over the chicken. Bake 30–35 minutes until it’s golden on the outside and cooked all the way through.
05 - Cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the rest of the sauce on top just before you serve it.

# Notes:

01 - You can cook this in advance and refrigerate for 2 days.
02 - Will stay good in the fridge for 3–4 days.
03 - Swap breasts with thighs, tenderloins, or drumsticks.
04 - All-purpose blend is easy to make from pantry spices.
