Start by setting your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cover a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper so cleaning up later is a breeze.

In a small pot on medium heat, mix together the butter, chopped garlic, honey, and soy sauce. Whisk it until smooth and let it gently simmer for about 3 minutes to thicken a bit.

Place the salmon pieces on the lined baking tray. Sprinkle them liberally with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat each one with the honey mixture, making sure the glaze is evenly spread.

Cook the salmon for around 12 minutes. It’s ready when the fish flakes easily and looks juicy. Use any liquid left in the pan to baste over the salmon for extra flavor and shine.
