# Ingredients:

→ Whiskey Aioli

01 - 2 tablespoons mayo
02 - ½ tablespoon Irish whiskey (or swap for lemon juice)
03 - 1 small garlic clove, crushed or chopped tiny
04 - ⅛ teaspoon paprika
05 - Sea salt and pepper as needed

→ Grilled Onions

06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
07 - 1 small sweet yellow onion, cut into thin slices

→ Burgers

08 - 1 pound ground beef (85% lean works best)
09 - 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
10 - 2 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and cut in half
11 - 2 hamburger buns
12 - Sea salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Combine mayo, whiskey, garlic, salt, pepper and paprika in a small bowl. Stick it in the fridge until you're ready to use it.
02 - Pour oil into a big non-stick pan over medium heat. Throw in onions and cook them for 5-7 minutes till they're golden brown, giving them a stir now and then.
03 - Shape beef into patties and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat till they're done how you like. Put cheese on top and let it get all melty.
04 - Put your cheesy burger on the bottom bun, then layer on bacon, those yummy onions, and the whiskey aioli. Cap it with the top bun.

# Notes:

01 - Lemon juice works fine instead of whiskey for the sauce
02 - You can make more by doubling or tripling everything
03 - Try smoked paprika if you want a smoky taste
04 - If you want, add some butter when cooking onions for extra richness
