Cheesy Onion Potato Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 medium potatoes, sliced super thin (about 1/8 inch thick)
02 - 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
03 - 1 cup heavy cream
04 - Salt and black pepper as needed
05 - 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
06 - 2 cans of French onion soup
07 - 1 cup crunchy fried onions

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven to 375°F (190°C). Coat a 9x13-inch dish with butter or non-stick spray.
02 - Spread half the potato slices into the baking dish. Sprinkle some pepper and salt over them. Pour one can of soup and half the cream evenly onto the potatoes.
03 - Layer the rest of the potatoes on top. Add the second can of soup, the rest of the cream, and sprinkle Gruyere and thyme over everything.
04 - Wrap it up with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Take the foil off, sprinkle crispy onions on top, and bake for 15 more minutes until golden and bubbly.
