Penne Ground Beef Butter (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta & Meat

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 12 ounces penne pasta

→ Sauce Base

03 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 3 tbsp butter
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - 1/2 cup beef stock
07 - 1 small onion, chopped finely

→ Seasonings

08 - 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
09 - 1 tsp Italian herbs

# Instructions:

01 - Fill up a big pot with water, salt it, and let it boil. Toss in the penne, cook following the directions on the box, then drain and keep it aside.
02 - Put a large pan over medium heat, add the ground beef, and cook until it's fully browned. Pour off any extra grease and set the meat aside for later.
03 - Using the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Toss in the garlic and onions, letting them cook until the onions are soft and smell amazing for about 3-4 minutes.
04 - Mix in the chili flakes (if you'd like) and Italian seasoning. Pour in the beef stock and heavy cream, whisk to combine, and let it cook for a few minutes until it gets slightly thicker.
05 - Add the cooked beef back into the pan and give it a good stir to coat everything in sauce. Mix in the cooked pasta, making sure it's evenly coated.
06 - Top it off with some grated Parmesan or a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you like, then serve it up while it's hot.

# Notes:

01 - Enjoy a filling pasta dish with a creamy garlic and butter sauce paired with savory ground beef, perfect for sharing with the family.
02 - Adjust spice levels easily by using more or less chili flakes to suit your taste.
