Simple Tropical Pineapple Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 10 green tea bags
02 - 4 cups water that’s been filtered
03 - Sweeten to taste: about ½ cup of sugar

→ Fruit & Serving

04 - Serve with as much ice as you’d like
05 - 1 cup of freshly-made pineapple juice

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the water in a big pot or saucepan.
02 - Toss in the sugar and stir until you see no more crystals.
03 - Take the saucepan off the burner. Drop in the tea bags and let them soak for 8 to 10 minutes.
04 - Mix in the pineapple juice and stir well.
05 - Transfer it to a pitcher and leave it on the counter to cool down. Then pop it into the fridge.
06 - Pour it over some ice and have a sip.

# Notes:

01 - To make your tea taste its best, go for filtered water
02 - Feeling adventurous? Try black tea or other tea varieties instead of green.
03 - Fresh pineapple juice is essential. Expect to get about a cup of juice from half of a large pineapple.
04 - Switch to a keto-friendly sweetener like Swerve if you’re avoiding sugar.
