In a large skillet on medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it into small pieces as it browns. Once it's fully done, drain out the extra grease and set aside.

Grab a large mixing bowl and stir together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Mix until it's nice and smooth.

Toss in the cooked sausage, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and diced tomatoes (if you want). Stir everything until it's well blended.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish, spread your sausage mixture evenly inside, and add some extra cheese on top if you like.

Place your dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. You'll know it's ready when the cheese is fully melted and everything is bubbling.

Once baked, let it sit for 5 minutes to cool a little. Add chopped green onions on top and serve warm with chips, crackers, or veggies.
