Garlic Shrimp Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup of butter.
02 - Medium shrimp, deveined and no tails (around 1 lb).
03 - Spaghetti noodles (roughly 1 lb, adjust if needed).
04 - Minced garlic cloves, about 6-8 (or as much as you prefer).
05 - Salt to your taste.
06 - Fresh herbs, optional and adjustable.
07 - A few dashes of ground pepper.
08 - Italian seasoning—use as much as you like.
09 - Olive oil, with approximately 3 pourings.
10 - Red chili flakes for a little heat (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Get your water boiling and toss the pasta in. Cook until soft but not mushy. Add a splash of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and some fresh herbs if you'd like. Before draining, save about a cup of the cooking water. Set the drained pasta to the side.
02 - While you're cooking the noodles, rinse the shrimp well and prep them.
03 - Heat a large skillet on medium and melt the butter. Drop in the cleaned shrimp.
04 - Cook the shrimp until it gets that pink shade and starts curling. Toss in the minced garlic at this point.
05 - Keep cooking the shrimp gently for 5-7 more minutes. Drizzle in some olive oil as it cooks, stirring until the shrimp are fully pink and curled tight.
06 - Add the drained pasta into the pan with the shrimp. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, black pepper, chili flakes, and some salt over everything. Pour in just enough of that reserved pasta water to keep it all moist, starting with 1/4 cup and adding more only if needed.
07 - Mix everything in the skillet until the flavors come together and it's heated all the way through.

# Notes:

01 - A flavorful pasta dish featuring buttery garlic shrimp, perfect for a quick dinner. The seasoning mix adds a dash of spice and an Italian twist.
