Slow Cooker Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of half-and-half.
02 - 6 oz dark chocolate, broken into pieces.
03 - 1 teaspoon optional espresso powder.
04 - 3 tablespoons sugar, granulated.
05 - 3 cups whole milk.
06 - 1 tablespoon cocoa powder.
07 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
08 - Pinch of kosher salt.
09 - Marshmallows, whipped cream, caramel, or chocolate chips (optional toppings).

# Instructions:

01 - Pour milk, half-and-half, vanilla, sugar, cocoa, and salt into a slow cooker. Add chopped chocolate and espresso powder, but skip the toppings for now.
02 - Stir quickly for about a minute or two, making sure the cocoa powder completely dissolves.
03 - Set the slow cooker to low for 2-3 hours or high for 45-60 minutes. Stir every 45 minutes to prevent clumps. The chocolate should be melted and smooth when done.
04 - Keep your slow cooker on warm or low so it stays hot. Scoop into mugs and add your favorite toppings.

# Notes:

01 - You need to use full-fat milk.
02 - Skip using chocolate chips.
03 - Can stay fresh in the fridge for 4 days.
