Choose if you want softer fruit by baking or quicker results with broiling, which also gives it a charred top and keeps the texture firmer.

Set oven to 400°F if you’re baking. Switch the broiler on high if you’re broiling.

Trim a little bit from the bottom of each grapefruit half so they sit steady. Cut around the segments to loosen the fruit, then put the halves on a baking tray.

Dust each grapefruit half with ground cinnamon and about a tablespoon of brown sugar.

If you're broiling: slide them under the broiler for 6-8 minutes till the sugar bubbles. Baking: let them cook in the oven at 400°F for 15-18 minutes.

Add the flaky sea salt on top and serve it up warm or chilled. It's up to you!
