Sweet Chili Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce.
02 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
03 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil.
04 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce.
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil.
09 - 1 teaspoon lemon pepper.
10 - 6 chicken thighs with bone.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your air fryer or oven to preheat at 375°F (190°C). Use a paper towel to dry off the chicken thighs. This step will help make them crispier.
02 - Take a small bowl and combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, avocado oil, and lemon pepper. Massage this blend all over the chicken thighs so they’re fully coated.
03 - For an air fryer, place the thighs skin-side down and cook at 375°F for 15 minutes. If using an oven, line your baking tray with parchment paper, put the chicken skin-side down, and roast at 400°F for 20 minutes. Flip them and cook for 10 more minutes until crispy.
04 - As the chicken cooks, stir sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce in a bowl until smooth.
05 - While cooking, brush the chicken generously with the glaze every few minutes to build up a sweet, sticky coating. Do this at least four times. Cook for 10 more minutes or until the internal temp hits 165°F (74°C).
06 - If you want extra crisp, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end. Keep a close eye to avoid burning, and create a golden, caramelized finish.
07 - Take the chicken out and let it rest a few minutes before digging in. Pair it with jasmine rice or your favorite side dish.
