Tender Beef Brisket (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Brisket, 6-8 lbs (point or deckle parts).
02 - A 24 oz bottle of ketchup.
03 - One 1 oz packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix.
04 - Water, 1 cup.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 275°F. Put brisket in a pan for roasting.
02 - Blend soup mix, water, and ketchup together. Use it to cover the brisket fully.
03 - Wrap pan tightly with foil. Bake for 7-8 hours, until soft but still holding together.
04 - Wait for 1-2 hours before cutting it.
05 - Carve into 1/2 inch pieces, slicing against the grain.

# Notes:

01 - Good in the fridge for about 5 days.
02 - Freezer life is up to 3 months.
03 - Point parts work out the best.
