Valentine Heart Mini Pizzas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pizza Base

01 - 2 1/4 teaspoons dry active yeast
02 - 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
03 - 3/4 cup lukewarm water
04 - 2 cups plain flour
05 - 1 teaspoon table salt
06 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

→ Pizza Topping Sauce

07 - 1 cup crushed tomatoes from a can
08 - 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
09 - 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
10 - 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
11 - Black pepper and salt as needed

→ Garnishes

12 - Grated mozzarella
13 - Thin pepperoni cuts
14 - Extra options: chopped peppers, sliced olives, chopped mushrooms, chunks of pineapple

# Instructions:

01 - Mix lukewarm water with sugar and yeast in a bowl. Wait about 5 minutes till you see it bubble up and foam.
02 - Put flour and salt in a big bowl. Pour in the bubbly yeast mix and oil, then work everything together for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover the bowl and let it grow for an hour.
03 - During the waiting time, mix your tomatoes with oregano, powdered garlic, sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a pot. Let it bubble gently for 10 minutes to bring out all the tastes.
04 - Turn your oven on to 400°F (200°C). Flatten your puffy dough and cut out little hearts with cookie molds. Put them on a flat baking tray.
05 - Cover each heart with your sauce, scatter plenty of cheese on top, and drop on pepperoni plus any extras you fancy.
06 - Stick your little heart pizzas in the hot oven for 8-10 minutes until you see golden edges and melty, bubbly cheese.

01 - Ready-made dough and sauce from the store works fine if you're in a rush
02 - Try mixing up your toppings for fun taste combos
