Tucci Italian Grilled Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 pieces quality sourdough or rustic bread
02 - Butter for coating

→ Fillings

03 - ½ portion fresh mozzarella
04 - 1 small handful shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or gruyere)
05 - 2 spoonfuls basil pesto
06 - 3 thin slices prosciutto
07 - 4-5 torn basil leaves
08 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Warm pan on low-medium flame. Spread butter on one face of both bread pieces.
02 - On the dry side of first bread piece, stack shredded cheese, prosciutto, torn mozzarella, basil, and dollops of pesto. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
03 - Place second bread slice on top with buttery side facing up.
04 - Brown each side for about 5 minutes until crispy outside and cheese gets all melty.

# Notes:

01 - Any cheese that melts works fine
02 - Mixing shredded and fresh cheese creates the perfect gooey bite
