Warm up your oven to 400°F. Put paper liners in 16 muffin spots.

In a big bowl, stir flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.

Work the soft butter in, then add eggs, milk, orange juice, vanilla, and orange peel. Mix until barely combined. Don't mix too much.

Scoop the mix into your lined muffin cups. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick stuck in comes out clean.

Take them out of the pans after cooling for a bit. Put on a wire rack to finish cooling, or eat them warm with butter.
