Zesty Orange Vanilla Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Powdery Components

01 - 3 cups regular flour
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - ¾ teaspoon salt

→ Liquid Components

05 - ½ cup (1 stick) butter, at room temp
06 - 2 eggs, not cold
07 - ½ cup milk, not chilled
08 - ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
09 - 1 tablespoon real vanilla extract
10 - 1 tablespoon grated orange peel

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 400°F. Put paper liners in 16 muffin spots.
02 - In a big bowl, stir flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
03 - Work the soft butter in, then add eggs, milk, orange juice, vanilla, and orange peel. Mix until barely combined. Don't mix too much.
04 - Scoop the mix into your lined muffin cups. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick stuck in comes out clean.
05 - Take them out of the pans after cooling for a bit. Put on a wire rack to finish cooling, or eat them warm with butter.

# Notes:

01 - You'll need about 2 big naval oranges for the juice and peel
02 - Tastes best when just made
03 - Good for 2 days on counter, then put in fridge
