Ground Beef and Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ To make the sauce

01 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
02 - 1 small piece (1-inch) fresh ginger, minced
03 - 1 garlic clove, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - ¼ cup soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

→ Main components

08 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil
09 - 2 tablespoons water
10 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
11 - 1 pound ground beef
12 - 1 broccoli head, broken into florets

→ To serve

13 - Steamed rice

# Instructions:

01 - Mix soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a big bowl. Make sure it’s all smooth.
02 - Put broccoli and water in a large skillet on medium heat. Cover it up with a tight lid and let it cook for 5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to move broccoli to a plate. Wipe the pan clean afterward.
03 - Pour avocado oil into the same skillet, heat it over medium-high, and toss in ground beef and onion. Stir and cook for roughly 7 minutes or until the beef is mostly browned.
04 - Pour the sauce into the skillet with the beef and let it cook until it thickens and sticks to the meat. Add the broccoli back in and mix it all together.
05 - Dish it out piping hot with rice if you want.

01 - Store any leftovers in an airtight box in the fridge for up to 3 days.
02 - Warm up leftovers in a skillet on low heat or use the microwave.
