Toss blueberries, sugar, water, and lime juice into a pot. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Strain with a fine sieve before letting the liquid cool down.

In a tall glass, mash up some lime wedges with the syrup. Add the mint leaves and gently mash them too.

Drop in the blueberries, fill the glass with ice, and pour over the soda. Stir lightly to mix.

Clap the mint sprig between your hands to bring out its aroma, then place it on top as a garnish.
