Creamy Lasagna Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 little onion, sliced thin.
02 - 3 garlic cloves, minced finely.
03 - 1 pound of ground chicken or sausage (Italian style).
04 - 4 quarts of chicken broth.
05 - 2 cups of heavy whipping cream.
06 - 1½ cups of tomato jam.
07 - 8 lasagna sheets, crumbled into smaller pieces.
08 - 1 teaspoon of mixed Italian spices.
09 - Salt and black pepper, adjust to your liking.
10 - 1 cup of grated Parmesan.
11 - 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.
12 - A handful of fresh parsley or basil leaves for topping.
13 - A pinch of red chili flakes (if you'd like some heat).

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, warm up olive oil on medium heat.
02 - Toss in the ground meat and break it apart while cooking.
03 - If there’s extra grease, skim it off and discard.
04 - Stir in the chopped garlic and sliced onion—cook for 3-4 minutes until soft.
05 - Mix in the heavy cream, broth, and tomato jam.
06 - Sprinkle in Italian spices, toss in some salt, and grind a little pepper over it.
07 - Let it slowly come to a boil.
08 - Drop the lasagna pieces into the pot.
09 - Simmer for about 10-12 minutes so the noodles soften up.
10 - Turn the heat low and blend in the grated Parmesan until it melts completely.
11 - Stir in the mozzarella cheese until it mixes smoothly.
12 - Ladle into bowls, sprinkle fresh herbs on top, and add red pepper flakes if you want some spice.
