# Ingredients:

→ Salmon

01 - 4 pieces of salmon without skin
02 - 2 teaspoons of dried Italian herbs
03 - ½ teaspoon of coarse salt
04 - ¼ teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper
05 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil, split into two portions

→ Creamy Sauce

06 - 2 teaspoons of finely chopped garlic
07 - ¾ cup of rich heavy cream
08 - 3 tablespoons of butter
09 - 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
10 - 1/2 a cup of sun-dried tomatoes, thoroughly drained
11 - 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
12 - 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth
13 - 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
14 - 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs
15 - A handful of fresh basil leaves for decorating the dish

# Instructions:

01 - Use a brush to coat the salmon pieces with olive oil, then sprinkle with dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to taste
02 - Warm up 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a big pan set to medium-high heat. Sauté each piece of fish for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown, then take them out of the pan
03 - In the same pan, melt the butter and stir in the garlic. Let it cook for just about half a minute, then mix in the flour to create a thick paste
04 - Pour in the chicken broth, followed by the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, the Italian seasoning, and lemon zest. Add any extra seasoning if needed, then let it cook until it turns creamy and thick
05 - Lower the heat to medium-low and add the salmon back to the sauce. Let everything simmer gently for 10 minutes. Add some fresh basil on top before serving, and maybe more lemon zest if you'd like
06 - Dish it out nice and warm, serving it on a bed of your favorite pasta or rice

# Notes:

01 - This dish is delicious when served with pasta or rice
02 - If you want, you can make the sauce ahead of time and just warm it up when ready
