Crispy Popcorn Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs.
02 - 1 cup buttermilk.
03 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
04 - Black pepper, as much as you like.
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley.
06 - 2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks.
07 - Enough vegetable oil for deep frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Pour about 2 inches of oil into a pan, then warm it on medium heat.
02 - Prepare 3 shallow bowls: 1st bowl: Flour mixed with garlic salt, 2nd: Buttermilk, 3rd: Panko.
03 - Layer chicken in this order: First flour mix, then buttermilk, finally coat with panko.
04 - If you like it crunchier: Dip the pieces back in buttermilk and coat in panko again.
05 - Cook the chicken one batch at a time for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
06 - Lay fried chicken on paper towels to soak excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dip.
