Healthy Homemade Gummies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 8 teaspoons of gelatin from grass-fed sources
02 - 1 cup of unsweetened fruit juice (or a mix of ⅔ cup pureed fruit and ⅓ cup fruit juice)
03 - 2 tablespoons of honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

# Instructions:

01 - Blend fresh fruit into a smooth puree if you're using whole fruit. Pour it into a large spouted bowl or measuring cup. Mix in honey if you want it sweeter.
02 - In a small pot, warm the juice over low-medium heat. Sprinkle in the gelatin and whisk non-stop as it heats. Let it warm gently for around 3 minutes, just until the gelatin melts fully and the liquid turns clear or cloudy.
03 - If you're using fruit puree, stir the warm gelatin-juice blend into it. Whisk it all until every bit mixes smoothly.
04 - Put a silicone mold on a baking tray, or use an 8x8 glass pan. Carefully pour the mixture into the molds or pan. Don’t overfill. Freeze it for 15 minutes for faster firming.
05 - Take the molds out of the freezer and remove the gummies. Keep them in a container in the fridge, where they’ll stay fresh for up to two weeks.

# Notes:

01 - Gather your tools and ingredients ahead of time. The process moves quickly once you start!
02 - Always taste the mix before setting it to chill. If it’s not sweet or flavorful enough now, the gummies won’t improve later. Slightly sweeter is better than not sweet enough.
