Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 whole cauliflower heads, medium size.
02 - 1 tablespoon of oil for cooking.
03 - 1 teaspoon of sea salt, finely ground.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
05 - 2 teaspoons of onion seasoning powder.
06 - 1/2 cup of parmesan, shredded.
07 - 1/2 cup of cheddar or gruyere, shredded.
08 - A handful of chopped fresh chives.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cover a large sheet pan with parchment.
02 - Cut the cauliflower heads into six slices, about 3/4 inches thick each.
03 - Sprinkle shredded parmesan onto the sheet pan, and place the cauliflower slices over it.
04 - Combine the oil, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Spread it over the cauliflower using a brush.
05 - Roast for 20 minutes until they soften.
06 - Sprinkle gruyere over the cauliflower and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbling.
07 - Add freshly chopped chives on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Two cauliflowers will give you nice, even slices.
02 - Keep any leftover florets for soups or stir-fries.
03 - Go for firm, fresh-looking cauliflower when shopping.
